Bug Description

Just booted Ubuntu 9.04 LiveCD to test whether I could get my Canon PIXMA MX318 printer/fax/scannner to work without the lsb compliance rigmarole.

As soon as the test page printed, got the message "systray.py crashed" - report/ ignore

Using synaptic 0.62.5
