Bug Description

Happened after Gnome 3.26 and Ubuntu 17.10 removed the bottom left systray. HPLIP Device Manager seems not to be compatible with Appindicator extension, so it can't be viewed anymore...

If I try to launch the program through Activities menu, this time toolbox.py crashes (see screenshot).
