Title:
  HP LaserJet 1000 won't print

Status in hplip package in Ubuntu:
  Incomplete

Bug description:
  Printing was working fine until I upgraded to 12.04 LTS. Now when a
  print job is sent to the printer it stays in "pending" and never
  prints. I disconnected the printer, deleted it from the System-
  Printing list, confirmed that it was removed from all of the
  LibreOffice programs and Firefox, turned off and restarted my computer
  and then reconnected my printer. Still doing the same thing. I turned
  off and restarted the computer again. Before the upgrade, the computer
  communicated with the printer when turning on and made the printer
  "warm up" or something. Now it doesn't do that. I also went through
  the HPLIP debugging process and this report was generated.
