Bug Description

i've tried to print from evince, okular, and finally adobe's. It worked for a couple of times while using adobe's, however, last week i tried to print from it and it failed, just the same way it was happening with evince, okular and printing from browser.

Does the problem occur on both printers or on only one, in the latter case on which one?

Please follow the instructions of the sections "CUPS error_log" and "Capturing print job data" on https://wiki.ubuntu.com/DebuggingPrintingProblems. Thanks.

Can you change the printing resolution or quality setting to see whether this makes your printer working?

I discovered that the whole problem is that it doesn't print with draft mode, it does not only apply for pdf files but also for .doc, and the reason why i got to print with adobe while it didn't print with evince was that the option "draft grayscale" was overwritten from the printing menu of evince.

summary: - can't print pdf files
