Bug Description
* Im not completely sure this bug is for gstreamer-OSS, hotplug, or gnome *
Its very simple. If my Logitech USB camera is plugged in, OSS will not be configured
for my sound card. Volume control will show only a "USB Audio Device" (the
camera has
a microphone) under the OSS Mixer tab. Alsa works fine and uses the proper
sound card.
This was very annoying as I spent *hours* trying to figure out why gnome and
gstreamer
apps were silent while Alsa apps played sounds just fine.

It may seem simple, but this behaviour makes no sense to me at all. Compare the
output from:
- lsmod
- cat /dev/sndstat
- dmesg
in both cases, and see what differences you find.
