Bug Description
Binary package hint: hotkey-setup
By default, thinkpad-keys, a daemon inside the hotkey-setup, polls the keys every 50ms. This is a major culprit of waking the CPU up, especially now variable-size ticks are in the kernel. I have built my own version of the package with a 500ms poll time with no apparent ill effects. After all, half a second of latency is acceptable for these rarely-used keys.
Tested on an X61 Tablet.
