hildon-desktop doesn't run

Same error here, but if you create the missing folder: /usr/share/applications/hildon-control-panel it will work.

I'm getting the same symptom of being unable to load the desktop background and then crashing, but I have hildon-control-panel installed properly (?), and /usr/share/applications/hildon-control-panel looks fine. This is a showstopper for me on my OLPC.

I wonder if it's a Geode-related bug, although that would be weird.
