After a fresh install,
hdapsd, the ibm thinkpad harddisk protection deamon fails to start. i have to manually edit /etc/defaults/hdapsd / /etc/init.d/hdapsd
and change to parameter "DISK" to sda intead of HDA.
Then HDAPSD will start, but warm me about some fallback mode things.
I just wonder: would on most laptops today and with recent kernels the device name always be SDA instead of HDA?
then change this one light would to better user experience for most users. |
