Bug Description
If, during suspend or hibernate, hdapsd shuts down the hard drive, and then gets frozen before it releases the hard drive, the system gets stuck in a state it can't progress in and the user can't recover from.
The attached pm-utils sleep.d hook shuts down hdapsd on suspend and starts it back up on resume. It would be better if hdapsd were modified so that it signals to the kernel that it is not freezable during the time that the hard drive is parked.
