please backport haskell-stm to hardy

Bug #233857 reported by StefanPotyra on 2008-05-21

Hardy Backports
haskell-stm (Ubuntu)

Bug Description

d'oh... I missed to sync that one during hardy, when some core libraries where split off to separate packages from ghc6 (6.8.2).

Though I haven't tried yet, it ( should build in hardy unmodified. If not, please let me know.
