From duplicated, it seems to appear when FPU FFT benchmark is used.

This bug happens 100% of times when I try to start "FPU FFT benchmark".

This is fixed upstream but no stable versions with the fix is available.

As of Ubuntu 17.10 there is a much newer package available with many fixes and improvements. Please try it and see if the issues is resolved.
