Bug Description
Binary package hint: hamster-applet
1) $ lsb_release -rd
Description: Ubuntu lucid (development branch)
Release: 10.04
2) $ apt-cache policy hamster-applet
hamster-applet:
Installed: 2.29.90-0ubuntu1
Candidate: 2.29.90-0ubuntu1
Version table:
*** 2.29.90-0ubuntu1 0
500 http://
100 /var/lib/
3) I expected to see four workspaces in hamster-applet's preferences dialog under the "Workspaces" tab since I have set up "Workspace Switcher" to have four workspaces (by right-clicking the applet and choosing 4 columns).
4) I see only one, which corresponds with the "Number of Desktops" option in CompizConfig Settings Manager - this might be unrelated though.

Still the same behavior on Maverick. settings- manager is not possible on my computer.
Is there a workaround other than disabling desktop effects? Increasing the "Number of Desktops" in compizconfig-
