Bug Description
Binary package hint: hamster-applet
Since jaunty changed its notification system, many apps (rhythmbox, banshee, transmission, pidgin...) have change the way they display notifications. Hamster, on the other hand, hasn't. Every 30 minutes you get a reminder confirming that you are, in fact, still doing the same thing you were doing before.
This notification used to fade away if you just ignored it, but now it spans a window that stays there forever. It's also quite confusing, since it has four buttons and two of them do the same.
Please, replace these notifications with new ones that respect ubuntu's new system.
