[karmic] Cannot mount ntfs volume in KDE

Bug Description

When I try to mount NTFS volume in KDE/Dolphin I rewarded with error:
An error occured while accessing 'Volume (ntfs)'. the system responded: org.freedesktop.Hal.Device.Volume.InvalidMountOption: The option 'locale=en_US.UTF-8' is not allowed for uid=1000

affects: ubuntu → hal (Ubuntu)

Try to install and run ntfs-config (as root), it fixed me the same problem.

Sory, but ordinary user wants mounting to work out of the box and won't search all over the internet what should he install and/or run. It works in gnome, why it shouldn't work in KDE?
