Bug Description
Binary package hint: hal
This bug applies to all distributions, but HAL guys at freedesktop.org are too lazy to fix this small bug. Please get it right in Ubuntu at least. Probe timeout it too short for external DVD writers for HAL to recognize DVD-s in time.
in hald/hald_runner.h changing timeout from 10000 to at least 30000 should make everybody happy
