Bug Description
Binary package hint: hal
Not sure, whether this is a bug or not. But latest hal package in hardy contains a file /etc/dbus-
<allow send_interface=
<allow send_interface=
<allow send_interface=
<allow send_interface=
<allow send_interface=
only to root user (uid 0). If I change policy to my local user, things work (e.g. mounting devices).
Apparently this policy: <policy at_console="true"> is not true even for the local user running X server (without gdm or any other xdm). I'd like to know whether this is a bug or I have only wrong settings.
Thank you for taking the time to report this bug and helping to make Ubuntu better. You reported this bug a while ago and there hasn't been any activity in it recently. We were wondering if this is still an issue for you. Can you try with the latest Ubuntu release? Thanks in advance.
