Bug Description

Binary package hint: hal

This is actually so very minor that I can't believe I'm actually reporting it; there just aren't any more interesting things to report :)
A file /usr/share/doc/TODO.gz is installed by the package, while the corresponding directory hal/ remains empty.

aschuring@neminis:~$ dpkg -S /usr/share/doc/TODO.gz
hal: /usr/share/doc/TODO.gz
aschuring@neminis:~$ find /usr/share/doc/hal
/usr/share/doc/hal
aschuring@neminis:~$ dpkg -s hal
Package: hal
Status: install ok installed
[...]
Version: 0.5.9.1-6ubuntu5

Thank you for taking the time to report this bug and helping to make Ubuntu better. However, I am closing it because the bug has been fixed in the latest development version of Ubuntu - the Hardy Heron. It won't be fixed in previous versions of Ubuntu because the bug doesn't fit requirements for backporting. See https://help.ubuntu.com/community/UbuntuBackports for more information.

Changed in hal:
importance: Undecided → Low
status: New → Fix Released

This appears to be fixed in hardy. There is no TODO.gz and /usr/share/doc/hal has content.
