Hald freeze system with phenom amd 4 core

Bug Description

Binary package hint: hal

When i replace an AMD 64 X2 by an AMD 64 X4 phenom HAL freeze system in a very short time ( less 1 second )

I am running Ubuntu gutsy 2.6.22-14-generic on Asrock alive NF7G hd ready ( with last BIOS 2.0 )

chipset geforce 7050/nforce 630A MPC

and in this version HALD is version 0.5.9.1
I try to start Hald in gdm but system freeze before got information.

If some body have a solution !

I compiled HALD version 5.10 and i have the same result :-(

no idea ?

Try to compile hald version 5.10 with option --disable-usb-ids and now system wasn't hang.

but i have a segmentation fault
after process hall-storage-cleanup-all-mountpoint exit

some idea to go on ?

Sorry a finish to find the problème. A cdrom gave a bad information and that made a strange result !!

I'll mark this bug as invalid, as it doesn't seem to be a problem with ubuntu.
