Bug Description

Binary package hint: hal

OS installed:
Kubuntu 7.04 (Feisty)

Problem Description:
When I update hal on my laptop from version 0.5.8.1-4ubuntu12 to 0.5.9-1ubuntu2~feisty1, the USB host controller on my system appears to constantly reset, according to the dmesg logs

From dmesg:

My USB controller is an Intel 82801G (ICH7 Family)

The USB resets will continue until I either unload the usbhid module, or until I revert back to the earlier version of the hal package

Feisty is not supported anymore.
