Bug Description

Binary package hint: hal

I noticed that HAL (hardy) doesn't recognize the Kindle as a media player, so banshee, rhythmbox, et. al. don't see it by default. I added it in. Here be the patch.

Happy Hacking!

Support for Amazon Kindle

The Amazon Kindle support mp3 playback. I noticed that hal currently does not recognize the kindle as a media device.

This patch adds support for Amazon devices with a vendor id of 0x1949 and the kindle with the product id of 0x0001 to allow audio/mpeg and defaults the audio_output folder to music/.

    - Fixes suspend on some machines.
    - Some "special keys" (brightness, speaker volume, etc.) quirk fixes.
  * Remove 06_huawei_e220_ignore.patch, committed upstream (in patch above
    now).
