"Liked post from " cannot be translated to Dutch

Bug #833807 reported by Redmar on 2011-08-25

Bug Description

I assume that the name of the poster will be printed after this string. In some languages however (including Dutch(nl)), the subject cannot be the last word of a sentence. This means that the above string cannot correctly be translated to all languages.

It would be great if the English string could be changed to:
"Liked post form %s", where %s would print the name of the poster.

Thank you for your bug report. I agree with your statement, "Liked post from %s" should be used instead. Same goes for the string "Shared post from" in the same file (libgwibber-gtk/action-box.vala).

Looks like the string is changed to "Liked post from".

Change status to fixed?

The bug is still present, I just added a translation that is valid, but not consistent or pretty. Its better to have this string translated in a crummy way then not translated at all.
