ok, for all those people who is having this behaviour please run in a terminal "sudo apt-get install libgdk-pixbuf2.0-0 --reinstall" then reboot your system and try again. this should fix this issue (not a gwibber related by the way)

Just to confirm that the fix works, and well too. Gwibber runs and updates.

apt-get install libgdk-pixbuf2.0-0 --reinstall work fine for me, but you dont need restart the system only restart the gwibber services and work again :-)

the svg loader issue has been fixed, that was not a gwibber bug so closing that one
