Bug Description

To reproduce:
1. Install 32-bit x86 Oneiric beta (I used the alternate installer iso)
2. Apply all patches
3. Open Broadcast Accounts ("python /usr/bin/gwibber-accounts")
4. Start to add a facebook account, click "Authorize"
5. Type in the wrong E-mail and password and click "Login"
6. On the "Please re-enter your password" screen click "cancel"
7. A screen saying "success" appears. Do not touch anything and in a moment there will be this crash.

Please could you check if this behaviour is still occurring with latest release 2.91.90-0ubuntu1?

After several attempts, I set up Facebook feed. Yet I don't see any news comming. Program freezes after clicking Facebook on Gwibber's panel. After several attempts it opens FB feed. There are also window resolution issues in set up dialogues (window doesn't fit the screen; 1280*800).

After I made a new clean installation of the Beta 1 gwibber works fine with me now. Even with facebook. But still, I think that piece of software needs urgently to be reviewed as so many people experiencing problems.

Yeah... Needless to say I am just some student who wanted to try this out. I am pretty computer illiterate meaning I understood Tron, but aside from that I am ignorant... I am currently running ubuntu from my toshiba 16g flashdrive booted off the "try ubuntu" boot menu thing, of a compaq presario sr5125cl. I have no idea whats going on or if that is even relevant, but I just want this thing to work for my facebook. Is there anyone that can tell me how to fix this? I'd really appreciate it.

Erics workaround does indeed work, im fully updated on 11.10. I have security on my FB account login and that may have been why it failed before not sure if thats a common factor or not.

I think my issue is slightly different than the one being discussed here even if it's the same software defect. I'm going to open a new bug report and mark this one as a duplicate of that. Hope nobody gets too upset but I am testing on Oneiric and this bug report was open on Natty.
