Have you tried to delete your account in desktopcouch database (openning ~/.local/share/desktop-couch/couchdb.html in a browser and delete entry located at gwibber_accounts->twitter-your_username) and recreate again this twitter account in gwibber?

Changed in gwibber (Ubuntu):

Kamus: No, but I did remove the account from the gwibber interface. Can we trust it or I should try it the other way?

Thanks!

I'm experiencing the same problem since the exact same point in time.

Deleting the account data and recreating the account as described by Kamus did not help.

Starting gwibber in a console gives this error message (aside the usual gtk warnings):

ERROR:dbus.proxies:Introspect error on com.Gwibber.Accounts:/com/gwibber/Accounts: dbus.exceptions.DBusException: org.freedesktop.DBus.Error.ServiceUnknown: The name com.Gwibber.Accounts was not provided by any .service files
ERROR:dbus.proxies:Introspect error on com.Gwibber.Streams:/com/gwibber/Streams: dbus.exceptions.DBusException: org.freedesktop.DBus.Error.ServiceUnknown: The name com.Gwibber.Streams was not provided by any .service files

No clue if this is relevant to this bug.

I just noticed tweets to me (tweets including my name @twitter-username) show up in my timeline.

Also my own tweets I sent through gwibber, but not the ones I sent through a different client.

As of today gwibber is back to normal. I did not change a thing, but at about noon (GMT+2) gwibber loaded tweets from Twitter again and also loaded older ones, too.

This bug is resolved by mystery for me.

Great, it's a temporal bug. No more messages again since about when I said I'm receiving messages again.

Any suggestions on how to debug this?

On my system it works fine for the first account that I've added ie.
facebook, but twitter is not updating since last night.
It mysteriously is updating only first account added, all accounts added
later are nut getting any updates.
