gwibber-accounts displays facebook authorization repeatedly

When I run Gwibber, I get a notification that "Facebook has authorized" me. I get this notice about once every two minutes while signed on.

Gwibber seems to be working fine otherwise, and I do not get this notification from my Twitter account. Maybe this is a Facebook bug?

Hello, can you give more info? about which Ubuntu version are you using and other hints?
I used to have some troubles with my facebook account but with lucid seems to work good...

I'm running on Ubuntu Lucid 10.04 with the latest updates:
Linux 2.6.32-22-generic Ubuntu x86_64
4 GB RAM
Compiz and Emerald both running.

There is pretty clearly a serious issue with Facebook and Gwibber and with Gwibber not updating. Just Google "Gwibber Ubuntu" and you'll see it everywhere.

This is far from "low priority." It basically makes the thing useless.

In a fresh install of Lucid, I cannot add Facebook to my broadcast accounts. It asks for authorisation and once it has received it (I get an email from facebook letting me know it accessed facebook), it tells me "Success" and then does nothing. There is no facebook among my accounts after I close the add service window.

Inside the main Gwibber (I get no notices or refreshes from the menu bar version), it is 18 hours or more late and no amount of refreshing helps.

Gwibber had been working fine for me until... the last update from ubuntu ( i think it was about two or three weeks ago). Since then I keep getting those facebook authtentification messages every x minutes.
