Bug Description

Binary package hint: gwibber

In Lucid beta 2 and RC / Gwibber 2.30.0.1, I'm easily able to load multiple accounts into Gwibber, with one exception -- with two Twitter accounts, my second account is unable to load replies. Clicking on replies for that second account, the message pane simply remains empty.

Oddly, the *rest of* the second account works fine (messages, private, sent) which would lead me to think this isn't Gwibber hitting Twitter's API cap.

Deleting and recreating the account or reloading data has no effect.

I've found additional information regarding this error - seems to be confused at the API call for responses?:

Ignoring my previous comments.
Thank you for taking the time to report this bug and helping to make Ubuntu better. Please answer these questions:

* Is this reproducible?
* If so, what specific steps should we take to recreate this bug?

This will help us to find and resolve the problem.

Thanks, Omer. I agree - this is not a duplicate of 495524.

This issue appears to occur only with one account, so I can only reproduce it for that account. However, assuming that:

1. Remove the account
2. Recreate the account
3. Check replies
4. Replies are blank; error above is reproduced

My other Twitter account retrieves everything without issue, and this account retrieves everything else successfully (public messages, Direct Messages, and sent Messages). Only Replies trigger this error.

Is there a sequence for fully removing the Couch Database? The instructions I had found left all cached messages in place. I'd like to try completely removing user data for Gwibber and starting from scratch to see if I can reproduce the problem. (It might be worth adding that sequence to the FAQ/wiki, unless I missed it.)

I am having same bug with one twitter account on Lucid, replies does not show on home nor in replies page in gwibber.

Recreating account made also Private Messages showing blank page.
Accounts for identi.ca and facebook work fine.
