This works fine for me.. I click setup broadcast account, get a window asking for my password, and then it opens gwibber.

I never get the window asking for a password, nor do I get gwibber. I also tried restarting my computer, just to be sure something wasn't screwy. See attached screencast...

If you are able to run that dialog when /usr/lib/policykit-1-gnome/polkit-gnome-authentication-agent-1 is running, then please mark this bug as a duplicate of the other one (#568748).

Thanks for following up. I checked and this dialog still is not working for me, even when polkit-gnome-authentication-agent-1 is running. I was hoping that would fix it too :-/

OK, thanks. I think you should run 'gwibber-accounts' in a terminal, and post the output here. (I *think* that's the program that this item should start, but I don't use it.)

So that's a crash. Thanks for the details, that should be enough for a developer to identify the problem.

Another hint: do you have gnome-keyring-daemon running correctly? Are you able to run seahorse and edit your secrets? Do other programs (like NetworkManager) correctly get passwords from your keyring?

I think so. I'm able to open Applications ->Accessories ->Passwords
and Encryption Keys (seahorse). I have auto-login set up, but I am
prompted for a password to unlock my keyring whenever I boot my
computer. Are there other things I should try to check specifically?

I don't have any idea of what developers may need. Let's wait for somebody more clueful to come, but that will happen on the duplicate report.
