Bug Description

Binary package hint: gwibber

Sometimes, 2 instances of gwibber-service is using a LOT of CPU usage for 25-36s.

Im using gwibber with twitter, facebook and identi.ca

Thats bad for laptops, because is changing CPU scaling governors.

I'm attaching a backtrace of gwibber-service stuck at 100% cpu. You might also be interested in bug #530605 which involves lots of "XXXX uses 100% cpu" problems, all seemingly related to accessing to passwords stored in seahorse.

Bug #530606 seems solved (at least for me), but this one is not: I don't think they really are duplicates.

same problem, takes a complete core of my cpu, running 10.04, with lates updates on Lenovo T61

i have the same problem, i uses 100% or even more :( of my cpu cycle.

Just had gwibber-service using 100% 4 CPU cores =(. Stopped when I exited gwibber. First time I noticed this.
