gwibber crashes on startup

Binary package hint: gwibber

When I try to start gwibber, it crashes every time. I'm attaching the output from the console (for some reason, I can't simply cut-and paste the text into this report).

Please could you try to reproduce this issue in latest version of gwibber daily ppa (you can get from https://launchpad.net/~gwibber-daily/+archive/ppa) and check if this problem is still affecting you? Thanks in advance!

OK; although I note that that bug was fixed in November and I am running a fully up-to-date karmic and still see the crash. Presumably the fixed version simply hasn't been put into backports for some reason :-(
