I would like to add that, like the original poster, the program seems to run fine on the frontend. The crash report comes while the app appears to be running. This has happened in a couple different applications as well. A crash report will appear for a program that appears to be running fine.

As of date stamp on this comment with all updates applied this crash occurs when starting/closing/using gwibber. It appears to still be functioning properly, yet something isn't working right in the background (at a guess.)

It happens everytime I open gwibber from the little message icon. as mentioned before, gwibber still seems to work though

It looks like this bug was fixed in the development branch [1]. The fix will hopefully be included in version 2.29.91.
