Bug Description

Binary package hint: gwibber

On Gwibber, when I want to @ many people in one tweet/dent/etc, the tendency is to click the reply button for each message I want to reply to. However, it allows only one contact to @. I have to manually copy and paste the contact names to put them in one message.

I know i'm not the reporter of the bug but it looks like the following:
1. open Gwibber
2. reply to a user/post
3 it shows a @name
4.you cant add another user to that same reply with a @ before the name.

What is expected:
being able to reply to all users that you would like and it adds a @ in front of the name

What happens:
replying to one users and to reply to the same user on the same post leaves off the @ for the second/third/ect...

Is that the right info? if not please add your version or at the very least let us know if that is close/correct

Hello. I'm not sure if I understand you correctly. To clarify, what I meant
was, the use can't click the reply button to have many @'s to different
users in 1 tweet. Clicking "reply" on more than 1 tweet in the timeline will
erase the existing message in the test box.

The user can still manually add multiple @'s though

Unfortunately this still isn't present in Gwibber 3.0.0.1

Considering that most Twitter clients will (by default) reply to all users mentioned in a tweet, it would probably make sense to implement this in Gwibber. If you're having a conversation with multiple people, it isn't particularly convenient to have to remember to copy everyone else's names when you reply to a tweet.

A "Reply all" entry in the menu available when clicking on the twitter or identica icon in right of the message would be great, putting in the tweet window automatically @ and names of all users in post to whom we want to answer.
