gwget has several huge problems in Ubuntu, this one is really bad:
I got no indicator in the notification area (top right next to clock). This is not really a problem, but accidentally closing gwget pressing its window's X button just closes this window and does not stop gwget at all. If I had an icon in the notification area, that would be ok - but now I got nothing. Starting more downloads is all done blind, no chance to get a window again!
ProblemType: Bug
DistroRelease: Ubuntu 11.04
Package: gwget 1.0.4-1.1ubuntu3
ProcVersionSignature: Ubuntu 2.6.38-10.46-generic 2.6.38.7
