Bug Description

"save as cdrdao toc from song markers" generates invalid start and length sample counters.

This problem has been reported to GWC developers and accepted as a bug against version 0.21-16, which is the latest available in the oneiric and precise beta repositories.

The problem is defined in:

A fix is available from the developers (see attachment), although I have not yet tested it.

also affects precise pangolin 12.04 beta 2 - the same version of gwc is the latest in its repository.

I have finished testing the new source for markers.c (it isn't a patch). Unfortunately, it appears to not be a complete bug fix, so you should not deploy it yet.

I am still communicating with the gwc developers and will post the complete fix when testing is successful.

After further testing and discussion with the developers of gwc, I am now satisfied that the new version of markers.c (attached already) fixes this bug in an acceptable manner (refer to the gwc mailing list entries for more details). I will attach a diff patch to apply against the 0.21-16 source file.

The Precise Pangolin has reached end of life, so this bug will not be fixed for that release
