Bug Description

Gwaterfall reacts and responds very slow: It takes 5–10 seconds to open an drop-down menu or scroll down the window.
Changing the displayed font, reducing the rendered font sizes or toggling off options like hinting does not reduce the lag.
The window management is also affected: Moving the window or change the focus to another window is slow, too. When the focus is finally moved to another window, this responding as usual.

I experienced the issue never before the upgrade to Oneiric.
