gwakeonlan doesn't install in Linux Mint 18

Bug Description

Tried to install gwakeonlen using the Synaptic Package Manager in Linux Mint 18.2, after the installation, I could only found /usr/share/doc/gwakeonlan directory created. Other directories should be created by this package are all missing.

I've taken the liberty of moving this issue over to the gwakeonlan package. It also looks like a duplicate of bug 1513567. Could you please take a look at that and see if it describes the same issue?
