Active Directory SMB mount not working

Bug Description

Mounting an Active Directory share in Nautilus tells me that i have to check my credentials, but they are OK.
Unable to log in to Windows share.

After adding this it works perfectly:

in /etc/samba/smb.conf add the following to the bottom of the [global]
section:

client lanman auth = yes
client ntlmv2 auth = no

Why is this not in a fix yet? Nonone can mount an Active Directory share from Nautilus, even in a newly installet and pached Ubuntu 12.04. It rates the first time experience really low, when a thing like this is not in place. Please release it as a fix.
