This issue is really annoying. It happens permanently. Example?:
Have a ftp folder open. Do anything else for some minutes. Drag and drop a file into the ftp folder.
And!: No access or whatever.
Or when I try to open a subfolder, then nothing happens. Empty!

Changed in nautilus (Ubuntu):
importance: Undecided → Low
affects: nautilus (Ubuntu) → gvfs (Ubuntu)

I have the same issue in the same environment as in the Bug Description.
I use this feature a lot and I know it used to work well in the previous releases.

My provider says it could depend on DHCP as my computer gets from time to time a new IP address an then ftp cannot connect anymore.
