Bug Description

Since this week's Oneiric updates, Deja-dup stopped working (without any config change):

It displays an error:
DBus error org.freedesktop.DBus.Error.NoReply: Did not receive a reply. Possible causes include: the remote application did not send a reply, the message bus security policy blocked the reply, the reply timeout expired, or the network connection was broken.

and I often have to kill a gvfsd-sftp process that hogs the CPU.

My backups point to an ssh path on the server.

Sounds like a misbehaving gvfsd-sftp instead of a misbehaving deja-dup. Reassigning.

Is there anything unusual about your ssh server? Is this 100% reproducable?

affects: deja-dup (Ubuntu) → gvfs (Ubuntu)

It was 100% reproducable for several days, but the problem seems to have disappeared exactly the way it came...

The SSH server is an Ubuntu 10.04 machine that has been running a long time, other clients where fine except for deja-dup on my Oneiric machine.

Will see if it resurfaces, but it's been gone for 2 days now...
