Bug Description

Binary package hint: gvfs-backends

when I click Places->Connect to server and connect to a samba share the process gvfsd-smb consumes one full CPU core for several minutes. after that I get an error that the resource can't be connected.

the error message says:

DBus error org.freedesktop.DBus.Error.NoReply: Did not receive a reply. Possible causes include: the remote application did not send a reply, the message bus security policy blocked the reply, the reply timeout expired, or the network connection was broken.
