Bug Description

Binary package hint: gvfs

When inserting an Audio-CD the following message appears:

"Unable to mount Audio Disc

Location is not mountable"

The Disc is shown in Nautilus, when clicking on it via "Places", the same error message shows up. Rhythmbox isn't showing the disc at all.

If there is more output needed, please tell me.

Ok, this seems to be something more general. The same happened a vew minutes ago as I tried to install the Game "Dune2000":

"Unable to mount DUNE2000

Error mounting: mount: /dev/sr1
already mounted or /media/DUNE2000
busy"

This time I was able to click on the entry in the Places-Bar and after that, the Disc appeared on the Desktop.

This problem went away for me after I manually installed 'gvfs-backends'

Installing 'gvfs-backends' through Synaptic worked for me as well.

Just had this problem on an audio CD with my sister's MacBookPro 5,5. Installing gvfs-backends fixes this issue. Maybe package this into Ubuntu 11.04 by default?

Thanks for the report, it has been some time without any response or feedback in this bug report and we are wondering if this is still an issue for you with the latest release of Ubuntu the Natty Narwhal, May you please test with that version and comment back if you're still having or not the issue? Please have a look at http://www.ubuntu.com/download to know how to install that version. Thanks in advance and sorry for the late response.

I am on 10.04 LTS and I can confirm this bug. I can also confirm that installing gvfs-backend works. If any body needs debugging info let me know.
