Bug Description

Binary package hint: gvfs

I was trying to transfer photos from one memory card to another via USB card readers, on a laptop HP Compaq with Win 7, Dual Core Celeron. I used a live USB loaded with Ubuntu 9.10 .
When I tried ' apt-cache policy packagename' as suggested, I got ' W: Unable to locate package packagename'. I do know what to do with Synaptic.

With a bit of luck the photo transfer should be OK
