Binary package hint: gvfs

I plug in my Sansa Fuze, and Ubuntu can only see the microSD card in it. If I remove the MicroSD card, nothing happens.

When you reported that bug, did you have the microSD card inserted?

Two storage devices were detected when you filed this bug. One seems to be just a drive without any media (/dev/sdc), the other (/dev/sdb) is an unpartitioned drive with an 8 GB FAT partition, UUID 0123-4567. I suspect that /dev/sdc is the SD card reader, which was empty? And /dev/sdb is the internal storage. It is recognized as a media player, but gvfs does not seem to mount it. Can you please plug it in, open a Terminal, and copy&paste the output of

  udisks --mount /dev/sdb

?

Also, please upgrade to current lucid (beta-2), a lot of fixes were made since then.

I had an SD card inserted into it right before the test. Anyway, I don't think it matters now, because as you predicted, in Beta 2, it did work as expected (i.e. both devices mounted), thank you, now I get to figure out how to close this. :)
