Request New Stable Upstream Version

Request an SRU for gvfs from GNOME Stable. This bug exists in Intrepid and is currently patched by GNOME Stable update. See attached screencast for bug. This bug also is resource intensive until the share is unmounted.

jaunty already has a newer version and there is bugs about the issue this version fix so no need to open a new one

note that the stable update is not trivial since it requires glib and nautilus to be updated in the same round
