In my case, the crash occurred immediately after I unmounted an iPod Nano. The unmount was successful, but the gvfs volume monitor crashed about two seconds afterward.

I didn't think anything of it at the time, but I was running Rhythmbox and
had just loaded a disk for it. I hope this helps.

the bug didn't get new comment or duplidates for some week, closing it now, reopen if you get the issue again using the current versions though
