Bug Description
Binary package hint: gvfs
Just trying to give a rundown. This is an upgrade computer, not a scratch install.
I am running Nvidia hardware and getting errors about ATAPI on boot occasionally. My computer on boot has major video problems every second boot and beeps perpetually. reset once or twice and it gives the following error:
[ 1.274697] fuse init (API version 7.9)
[ 1.542544] v86d[1021]: segfault at 0 ip 402069 sp 7fff72ec9b70 error 4 in v86d[400000+1a000]
[ 6.310704] uvesafb: Getting VBE info block failed (eax=0x4f00, err=1)
[ 6.310767] uvesafb: vbe_init() failed with -22
[ 6.310826] uvesafb: probe of uvesafb.0 failed with error -22
v86d was asked for by something in the boot however it was not automatically installed.
This computer was working fine under Hedgehog before upgrade.
