Bug Description
Binary package hint: gvfs-backends
When browsing an sftp:// directory I need to enter the password, even though
key file authentication is set up and working for this server.
Doen't gvfsd-sftp support key file authentication?
If I open a file using gedit in the above sftp:// directory, I need to supply the password once again.
Isn't gvfsd-sftp supposed to share authentication information and state between applications?
This happens on Ubuntu 8.04.

thank you for your bug report, no need to authentification if the application is using the fuse mount, not sure when gvfs is used, note than gedit is not using gvfs yet
