Bug Description
Binary package hint: nautilus
On a ftp server we cannot create directories named with blank and "-" (E.G. "n1 n2 - n3 n4 - n5 n6"). When we do it we have the following error "The item could not be renamed. There is no "untitled folder" in this folder. Perhaps it was just moved or deleted?". It appears as "untitled folder" while using Nautilus but when we check it out by using SSH or other ftp clients, the name of the folder is the one we chose. After a refresh, the directory disappears completely from the list.

Thank you for your bug report. What ftp server do you use? Does gvfs-mkdir success to create a such directory?
