upstream has some questions about the issue

"Looks like a bug in libcdio; it's weird that it uses host="scd0". Please attach

 1. output of lshal
 2. output of 'ls -l /dev/s*'

Thanks."

I've obtained requested information, they are in the attachment.

The bug reappeared followind this sequence:

-Inserted an audio cd in my cd reader that is mounted on the virtual machine too
-Automatically started soundjuicer
-Few moment after appeared a small error window then a big one

On the small one is written:
"Impossible to mount audio Disk
The device /dev/scd0 doesn't contain audio file(s)"

The bigger one is the error segnalation for launchpad.

At the end i want to notice that in sound juicer the names of the audio tracks appeared and that i can start the audio extraction but that it's really really slow (i think never ending.. sometimes it tries to guess the end time but it gives value like 600' for only one track!. Listening to my cd-dvd reader i can hear a continous start and stop of the read process) (obviouvsly these things don't happen on the host machine).

I've updated my distribution and then rebooted as requested then i inserted an audio cd in the cd-reader. This time soundjuicer didn't start automatically but the error windows reappeared (with the same bug report. Should i post a new (duplicate) bug?)

Tell me if something i've done is wrong! :)

Yesterday i've newly updated my system and something changed. Now, when i put a cd-audio into the cd-reader, soundjuicer doesn't start automatically. So i've to click on "audio cd" in the resources menu. After a long time (minutes), with a lot of reading tries by my cd-reader as i can hear, it appears the small window with

"Impossible to mount audio Disk
The device /dev/scd0 doesn't contain audio file(s)"

I click on the "Ok" button and then nothing else happens (so no crash report!).
