Same thing to me, when I try to open my mobile, using bluetooth.
Nothing happens, but in syslog there is a message:

*there is numbers/letters instead of "?"

The same here on Ubuntu 12.10 64-bit Macbook Air. The same segfault. Can't pair new devices either.
