Bug Description
The Lexmark Z42 printer is only printing empty pages.
The number of empty pages seems to be the same as the document has so it is some kind of connection.
I must reboot to another OS (FC5) when I want to print.
Printing has been working long time (approx 0.4 year?) ago with driver gimp-print-ijs.
When it started not to work it was also a lot of other bugs - some described in bug/61307.
Now I hope it is only one bug remaining.

I don't know specifically about the z42, but I know that the drivers for the lexmark z52/z53 are broken in Dapper. That was fixed in Edgy 6.10: /bugs.launchpad .net/ubuntu/ +source/ gutenprint/ +bug/6627

I would guess that possibly you have the same problem than in that bug report.
They was an attempt to backport these newer print drivers into Dapper 6.06 to solve these type problems, but I'm not sure about the status of that attempt: /bugs.launchpad .net/dapper- backports/ +bug/61843
